Spencer Paysinger Football | NFL

Upon graduation, the retired linebacker landed with the New York Giants for four years. By not being selected in the 2011 NFL Draft, Paysinger drafted with the New York Giants as a free agent. As a novice, Paysinger didn’t have much time to play. He garnered 12 tackles in 15 games. He was part of the winning side of the Super Bowl XLVI.

In the following three seasons with the Giants in New York, he racked up 104 tackles in 47 games. In the 2014 season, he was also able to get to the quarterback for the first time working up his first and only NFL career sack.

On April 2, 2015, Paysinger went on to sign a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins. He was again re-signed by the Dolphins on March 31, 2016. In the two seasons with the Dolphins, he garnered a total of 57 tackles.

From the Dolphins On June 9, 2017, he signed with the Jets, however, even before he could get to play with the team in the regular season, he was discharged on September 1, 2017. His last stint was with the Carolina Panthers On December 5, 2017, whereby he played in three games, before being released by the team on December 29, 2017, and ultimately retired from the sport.
